Assembly Technician - Summary- Assemble large retail products in major stores for a national assembly company
- Full-time contract role with immediate openings
- Work independently using your own tools and transportation
- Opportunities for high earnings based on efficiency and quality
- Assemble a variety of products, including grills, BBQ equipment, patio furniture, lawn mowers, outdoor power tools, bikes, wheelbarrows, and storage sheds on-site at retail locations
- Follow detailed instructions and product manuals to ensure accurate and safe assembly
- Use personal hand and power tools to complete builds efficiently
- Check in and out of worksites using a smartphone app, including taking photos and scanning for invoicing purposes
- Maintain a high standard of quality, ensuring each product is assembled to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate professionally with store management and customers as needed
- Self-schedule shifts, managing your own availability for assignments
- Meet daily quotas and deadlines for completed assemblies
- Competitive pay starting at an average of $20 per hour, with no cap on potential earnings
- Top performers can earn the equivalent of $60 per hour or more based on productivity
- Piece-rate pay structure: the more you assemble, the more you earn

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift and move items over 50 pounds repeatedly
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Ownership of essential hand and power tools, including but not limited to: 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet
- Smartphone with a functioning camera for job check-ins and documentation
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow detailed assembly instructions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential
- Self-motivated with a "get it done" attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work
- Adaptable and able to work independently in varied retail environments
- Enjoys hands-on work and problem solving
- Mechanically skilled, even without formal assembly experience
- This position does not require previous assembly experience, though mechanical skills are necessary
