The Breast Radiologist, MD/DO – Locum Tenens role is structured with a standard Monday through Friday schedule, 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring predictability and work-life balance. The engagement is ongoing, with start dates after credentialing and volume expectations of 85 RVUs per shift. You will play a key role in interpreting screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, and ultrasound studies while performing procedures such as magseed placements, biopsies, and aspirations. Please note, no MR breast studies or MR breast procedures are currently performed at this site.

Breast Radiologist, MD/DO – Locum Tenens Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms using industry-standard protocols
- Evaluate and interpret breast ultrasound studies
- Perform minimally invasive breast procedures, including magseed placements, biopsies, and aspirations
- Document findings and procedures accurately within the Powerscribe 4.0 system and RPCE Tech Stack
- Maintain high standards of quality and patient safety in all imaging procedures
- Collaborate effectively with other radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to established hospital policies and protocols
- Meet or exceed daily volume expectations (85 RVUs per shift)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of residency in radiology
- Board certification in breast radiology required
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state
- Experience in interpreting mammography and breast ultrasound imaging
- Proficiency in performing magseed placement, breast biopsies, and aspirations
- Familiarity with Powerscribe 4.0 and RPCE Tech Stack or willingness to learn
- Ability to commit to full-time, ongoing locum tenens schedule
- Credentialing process of 60–90 days before assignment start
