Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for general, transplant, and other complex surgical cases in collaboration with physicians and surgical teams.
- Evaluate patients prior to procedures, including medical histories and physical assessments, to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic levels as needed to ensure optimal safety and comfort.
- Provide postoperative care, including pain management and monitoring for complications.
- Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the anesthesia department.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices in anesthesia through continuing education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid and unrestricted state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Experience in general anesthesia required; experience in transplant anesthesia preferred but not mandatory.
