This Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens role utilizes the Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system, enabling efficient workflow and streamlined documentation. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care for a wide range of cases including orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, gastroenterology, spine, interventional radiology, and epidural procedures.
- Work evening or night shifts on a Monday through Friday schedule, with shift options from 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Function under a 1:1 supervised model with a board-certified anesthesiologist, ensuring collaborative and safe patient care.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system to accurately document patient information, anesthesia plans, and intraoperative events.
- Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans for patients.
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, adjusting anesthesia as required to maintain safety and comfort.
- Provide postoperative evaluation and care as needed, ensuring a smooth transition for patient recovery.
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in team briefings and debriefings to enhance patient outcomes and maintain open communication among care team members.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive all-inclusive hourly rate, ranging from $225–$260 per hour, based on contract length and shift preference.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active and unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses as required by the state.
- Demonstrated experience in providing anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases, including but not limited to orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, GI, spine, and interventional radiology.
- Proficient in the use of EMR systems, preferably Epic.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to best practices in anesthesia care.
