Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Locum Tenens Summary
- Locum tenens assignment with Palm Health Resources at a multi-site, high-acuity health system
- Engage in a full spectrum of anesthesia care, including general, regional, and obstetric cases
- Collaborate with a skilled surgical and nursing team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia in hospital operating rooms and outpatient surgery centers, covering 16+ ORs
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including monitored anesthesia care (MAC), general anesthesia, obstetric (OB), regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia
- Manage trauma, pediatric, and neonatal cases as required
- Perform intubations, intravenous (IV) starts, ventilation management, and acute blood pressure/volume management
- Preferred: Proficiency in placing central and arterial lines
- Utilize advanced anesthesia equipment, including Dräger anesthesia machines, Omnicell systems, and Cerner EMR
- Participate in in-house and beeper call rotations with a 15-minute response requirement
- Ensure safe patient care before, during, and after anesthesia administration
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all anesthesia procedures

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) licensure
- Demonstrated experience in high-acuity settings, including OB and emergency cases
- Competence in a broad range of anesthesia techniques (MAC, general, regional, spinals, epidurals)
- Strong skills in intubation, IV access, ventilation, and acute hemodynamic management
- Preferred: Ability to place central and arterial lines
- Familiarity with major anesthesia equipment and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
