The Cybersecurity Analyst (CISSP) will play a vital role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of information security programs. The position requires a deep understanding of security policies, processes, and standards, as well as the ability to perform audit assessments and ensure the integrity of security configurations. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the Cybersecurity Analyst (CISSP) will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s digital assets by identifying vulnerabilities, managing risks, and maintaining best-in-class security protocols.

Cybersecurity Analyst (CISSP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain security policies, processes, and standards in alignment with organizational goals.
- Perform audit assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with security configurations and standards.
- Conduct cybersecurity controls assurance testing, particularly in cloud environments using tools such as Wiz.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps in cloud infrastructure.
- Manage user access and permissions within Wiz, ensuring strict role-based access controls.
- Generate and distribute actionable reports on security posture and compliance to key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to inventory and manage approved, unapproved, and required cloud services.
- Customize security rules and automate actions to meet organizational requirements.
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification required at time of application (must include certification number on resume).
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management.
- Comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, network protocols, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP).
- Experience documenting and maintaining security procedures and protocols.
- Technical expertise in operating systems, security applications, and basic network tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including effective conflict resolution and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, able to manage tasks independently and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
