As a Google Workspace Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting technology operations for a leading organization. This full-time position is focused on providing Tier 2 support for Google Workspace environments and Chrome OS devices to ensure seamless day-to-day functioning across the company. The Google Workspace Administrator is responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, policy enforcement, and ongoing troubleshooting of the Google Workspace suite and Chrome OS devices via the Google Admin Console. This position requires occasional travel between facilities, making adaptability and effective communication important skills. Working within a collaborative environment, you will interact with IT teams and end-users to resolve issues, implement new features, and ensure compliance with security and usage policies.
Google Workspace Administrator - Summary
The Google Workspace Administrator is a core technical role accountable for maintaining and optimizing the organization's Google Workspace infrastructure. This includes monitoring performance, addressing user issues, and enforcing security and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Google Workspace and Chromebooks, providing technical support, and implementing best practices for cloud-based collaboration tools. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for Google Workspace and Chrome OS device issues, including troubleshooting, escalations, and resolutions.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Google Workspace applications and user accounts using the Google Admin Console.
- Monitor Google Workspace environments for usage, storage, security, file sharing, synchronization activity, alerts, and compliance issues.
- Oversee Chromebook deployment and management, including installation of extensions, educational applications, content filters, sign-in restrictions, and software updates.
- Work closely with other IT staff and departments to ensure smooth integration and operation of Google Workspace solutions.
- Enforce organizational policies, maintain system documentation, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Participate in occasional travel to various company facilities to provide on-site support and training as needed.
- Communicate technical information effectively to users and colleagues at various skill levels.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience supporting Google Workspace and Chrome OS environments in a systems administration or IT support role.
- Proficiency in managing Google Workspace through the Google Admin Console, including user and device management, policy configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Chromebook deployment, management of extensions, educational apps, content filtering, sign-in restrictions, and system updates.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor environments for usage, security, storage, compliance, and sync activity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Solid understanding of IT best practices, security protocols, and compliance requirements within Google Workspace and Chrome OS environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach to support.
