Insurance Account Representative - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-up and attentive communication
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both prospective and current clients
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
- Conduct needs-based reviews to educate clients about insurance options and recommend tailored solutions
- Develop insurance quotes, present sales proposals, and close sales in a consultative manner
- Build and maintain ongoing networking relationships to generate leads and referrals
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in insurance sales or customer service is preferred
- Background in sales (inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is a plus
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals or quotas is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to customers
- Professional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Life and Health insurance license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
