Insurance Sales Agent (P&C, L&H) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Schedule appointments and conduct needs assessments for potential and existing clients
- Market appropriate insurance products and services tailored to client requirements
- Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships through continuous engagement
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service; address inquiries about product availability, eligibility, policy changes, claims, billing, and more
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy information
- Stay informed about industry trends, policy updates, and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency sales goals and deliver exceptional client outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Life & Health insurance license strongly preferred (must be able to obtain if not currently held)
- Prior experience in insurance sales, outside or inside sales, retail, or telemarketing is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to build rapport, relate to diverse customers, and deliver exceptional service
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and compliance with industry regulations
