We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiologist (IR) for an exciting opportunity to deliver specialized care in a hospital environment. This full-time role focuses on providing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, supporting the hospital's commitment to exceptional patient outcomes. The Interventional Radiologist (IR) will participate in a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm, and will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload. You will perform both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to breast biopsies, needle localizations, sentinel node injections, kyphoplasty, and lumbar punctures. In addition, you will conduct fluoroscopy exams related to gastrointestinal issues, various types of biopsies (such as liver, lung, kidney, thyroid, and soft tissue), drain placements, and stent placements. The expected volume is approximately 100 RVUs per shift, providing ample opportunity to apply your expertise and develop new skills in a dynamic clinical setting.
As an Interventional Radiologist (IR), you will work closely with referring physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure seamless patient care. You will utilize Powerscribe 4.0 as the electronic medical record (EMR) platform, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and patient interactions. Board certification in Interventional Radiology and an active state license are required to be considered for this position. The credentialing process is expected to take between 60 to 90 days.
