Credentialing is required prior to the start of the assignment, and candidates must possess an active medical license in the state where the hospital is located. The hospital utilizes Powerscribe 4.0 and the RPCE tech stack for efficient electronic medical record management, ensuring seamless workflow and documentation.
As an Interventional Radiologist (IR), you will be responsible for a variety of cases, including but not limited to fluoroscopy-based exams, biopsies, aspirations, and drain placements. You will handle a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, CT-guided biopsies (including kidney, bone, liver, and lung), and ultrasound-guided aspirations (excluding breast procedures). Additional responsibilities include conducting myelograms, spinal punctures, arthrograms, and fluoro-guided aspirations. The position requires the ability to manage a volume expectation of approximately 55 RVUs per shift, reflecting both productivity and patient care standards in a hospital setting.
