Licensed Insurance Agent (P&C) - Summary
The Licensed Insurance Agent (P&C) is responsible for developing client relationships, identifying new service opportunities, and providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. This position is remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction. The agent will educate clients about insurance options, assist with policy changes, claims, and billing, and ensure regulatory and licensing requirements are met.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up as needed.
- Identify and develop new service opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy updates, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Conduct needs-based reviews to educate clients on insurance options and recommend suitable products.
- Create insurance quotes, present sales proposals, and close sales effectively.
- Develop and maintain ongoing networking relationships within the community and industry.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a daily commitment to professional success and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with product changes, technical developments, licensing requirements, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of service delivery and compliance with agency protocols.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agency leadership.
