Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - Summary
- Engage with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Develop new business by generating leads, scheduling appointments, and marketing insurance products.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and excellent service delivery.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries related to insurance availability, policy options, billing, and claims.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of State Farm insurance products and services to effectively serve and educate clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and develop leads for new and existing insurance products, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective and current clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Follow up with clients to review coverage, answer questions, and provide ongoing support.
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and accurate customer service by addressing inquiries regarding policy information, claim submissions, policy changes, and billing clarification.
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain complex insurance options in a clear, concise manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and grow the business.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing requirements and training programs as outlined by State Farm and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License (required).
- Florida 2-15 license (required); Florida 2-20 license (preferred).
- Previous experience in insurance sales or related sales roles preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is highly valued.
- Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal, and listening.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated, self-driven, and able to relate effectively to a variety of customers.
- Ability to work in-office and commute to the agency location.
