Medical Director – Primary Care (MD/DO) – Summary
- Leadership role overseeing a primary care outpatient clinic focused on value-based care for seniors.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct daily clinic operations and provide clinical guidance to staff, ensuring delivery of quality, value-based care.
- Oversee a small patient panel (up to 240 seniors) with complex, chronic health conditions.
- Supervise and mentor primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Participate in and promote continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists (e.g., cardiology, podiatry) for integrated patient care.
- Engage in leadership development programs including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Training, and Center Operations courses.
- Monitor and drive clinical performance metrics, center financial outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and ongoing learning within the healthcare team.
- Support sales and growth initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatrics.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related discipline.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
