MLOps Engineer – Databricks Certified Summary
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust machine learning workflows using Databricks and related tools.
- Work collaboratively with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, governed, and secure ML solutions.
- Enable automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for ML pipelines to optimize the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning applications.
- Utilize expertise in cloud platforms, distributed data processing, and Python programming to support advanced machine learning operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to architect and maintain ML workflows using Databricks, MLflow, Delta Lake, and Spark.
- Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML models utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Implement and enforce model governance, security, and production reliability protocols throughout the ML lifecycle.
- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to architect scalable, efficient, and secure ML environments.
- Develop Python scripts to facilitate distributed data processing, data ingestion, feature engineering, and automated model deployment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ML pipelines to ensure high availability and performance of production systems.
- Document processes, maintain best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in ML operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in MLOps, Data Engineering, or related fields within cloud-based environments.
- Databricks Certification, such as Associate Data Engineer, Professional Data Engineer, or ML Practitioner.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing ML pipelines with MLflow, Delta Lake, and Spark.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong Python programming skills, especially for distributed data processing and ML automation.
- Deep understanding of model governance, security, and reliability in production environments.
