We are seeking a dedicated OBGYN Physician (MD/DO) to join our dynamic team on a locum basis, providing crucial obstetric and gynecological care across multiple clinical environments. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and are interested in making a meaningful impact through call coverage and essential women’s health procedures. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, advanced clinical support, and the chance to work with leading electronic medical records systems, such as EPIC and Dragon. With several locations available, this position is an excellent fit for those looking to broaden their clinical experience and contribute to excellent patient outcomes in diverse healthcare settings.
As an OBGYN Physician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in a call setting, performing a variety of procedures including cesarean sections, suction D&Cs, laparoscopies, and tubal ligations. You will also be expected to read non-stress tests (NSTs) and may have the opportunity to perform circumcisions, though this is not mandatory. The schedule includes several distinct call blocks, each requiring a commitment to patient safety, collaboration with fellow providers, and compliance with established protocols.
To ensure seamless integration into our team, you will undergo a thorough orientation that includes EPIC and Dragon training and participate in a brief proctoring period (typically covering 5 cases). Your clinical expertise will be supported by experienced backup OBGYN call providers, and your performance will be measured by maintaining up-to-date case logs showing a minimum of 50 deliveries and 25 gynecological procedures within the past 12 months. Board certification or eligibility within five years is required, as are active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Candidates holding or pursuing IMLC licensing are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those prepared for the standard credentialing process, which is prioritized according to start date.
This locum OBGYN position offers the opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of women across a variety of practice environments.
