The OBGYN Physician (OB/GYN, MD, DO) position features ongoing 24-hour in-house shifts, with the flexibility to perform duties from an on-site hotel if preferred. This role involves comprehensive coverage of labor and delivery, including the management of unassigned deliveries, c-section assistance, OB triage visits in the emergency department, and delivery assistance. As an OBGYN Physician, familiarity with both obstetric and gynecologic surgeries and procedures is essential. The hospital utilizes the EPIC EMR system, ensuring streamlined documentation and patient management. The facility averages approximately 170 deliveries per month, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact within the community.
Applicants must be board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and possess active certifications as specified, including ACLS and NRP. A Maryland DEA and, ideally, a Maryland state license are required to practice. The credentialing process is efficient and can be completed in less than 60 days, allowing qualified candidates to begin making a difference quickly. OBGYN Physician (OB/GYN, MD, DO) - Summary- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital labor and delivery setting
