Radiologic Technologist (RT) / CT Technologist (CT) - Summary
- Provide high-quality imaging services in both general radiology and CT modalities
- Work independently, covering solo shifts as needed
- Deliver compassionate care in a community hospital environment
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and CT equipment, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as necessary
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure proper functioning of radiology and CT equipment
- Administer contrast media and perform injections as required for certain CT procedures (NYS Injection Registered preferred)
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, protecting patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate degree (AAS) or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current New York State license or eligibility to obtain
- ARRT (RT) certification required; ARRT-CT certification or eligibility strongly preferred
- NYS Injection Registered preferred for contrast media administration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during solo coverage shifts
