Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Summary- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Employ advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment to support patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health, therapies, and preventive measures
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and organizational protocols
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to respiratory treatments and adjust care plans as needed
- Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory support devices
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all respiratory therapy interventions, patient progress, and outcomes accurately
- Participate in emergency response situations and provide critical respiratory support
