Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, targeting specific speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Deliver training and resources to school staff and families to facilitate communication support strategies
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of educational programming

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
