Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement and category management plans for assigned materials.
- Analyze spend data, pricing trends, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review bills of materials, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to inform sourcing decisions.
- Lead supplier sourcing initiatives, including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and selection processes.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring effective performance management.
- Drive supplier consolidation strategies while upholding quality and delivery standards.
- Implement risk mitigation measures to address supply chain constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and finance teams for strategic alignment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management of direct materials.
- Strong expertise in electronics and electrical supply chain management.
- Experience working with BOMs, engineering specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage global supplier relationships.
- Advanced analytical skills, including cost modeling and spend analysis.
- Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
- Demonstrated success in achieving cost savings and operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
